Bitcoin reclaimed the $65,000 level, reviving risk appetite among crypto traders after weeks of listless, sideways trading.

The move followed the conclusion of the World Cup, an event traders said may free capital and attention to flow back into digital assets after a period of distraction and thin volumes.

Options markets showed bullish positioning, with large call spreads targeting $72,000 by month-end around the Federal Reserve's policy meeting, according to market participants.

The rebound coincides with renewed focus on U.S. stablecoin rules as the GENIUS Act marks its first anniversary, and with an active debate among developers over proposals such as BIP-110 to limit blockchain spam.

Analysts cautioned that macro headwinds remain. A stronger dollar, rate uncertainty and lingering geopolitical tension could cap gains despite the brighter near-term mood.

For now, the return above $65,000 has lifted sentiment across major tokens, with traders watching whether momentum can be sustained into the Fed meeting.
